Most products have several standards. We have the 30leds/m,60leds/m and 144leds/m apa102 strip.The PCB board width is 10mm or 12mm.
One day an Amarican customer asked whether we can help to do a customized prodcut. He will use them in a special project. In his requirement,the PCB board need be narrower ,only 9.5mm or less,and each meter has 39leds.Each piece will need 91 leds. In the two end of the strip,only board not leds.

After our engineer figured out the data,our factory start the produce.
