iSQUARE Shopping Center, Tsim Sha Tsui (Hong Kong) | Addressable LED Rigid Matrix Ceiling with DMX-Like Visual Effects

Located at iSQUARE Shopping Center in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui and directly connected to the MTR station, this ceiling installation is “simple-looking but easy to misjudge.” When the animation scans in white, many assume a DMX512 panel is required—but the client actually installed an addressable LED rigid matrix. The ceiling is about 20m long and 7m wide, consisting of 5 separate hanging matrix blocks that are controlled together by one system to form a unified animated ceiling effect.

Description

As a landmark mall in Tsim Sha Tsui, iSQUARE needed a ceiling feature that is both visually striking and service-friendly. By using an addressable rigid matrix approach, the whole animated ceiling is modularized into five hanging sections—making installation and maintenance easier while still achieving synchronized, large-area animation across the ceiling.
