Furniture-integrated lighting to supplement ceiling spotlights in a retail bedding display.

A bedding merchandising unit shown in the supplied application photographs.
Project Overview
A Singapore furniture manufacturer was developing wooden display units for a bedding retail chain. The furniture presented pillows, bed linen and other home textiles in shelf compartments.
Ceiling spotlights alone did not provide enough illumination inside the units. The manufacturer wanted linear lighting integrated into the furniture, bringing light closer to the merchandise.
Customer Challenge
The lighting requirement concerned the cabinet interior rather than the wider store. The customer needed a configuration beneath the shelves, with light-bar and cable lengths suited to the furniture layout.
The display used manual switching and a steady lighting mode, keeping control straightforward for the retail application.
What We Did
iPixel supplied rigid LED light bars for the under-shelf positions. Their lengths were customized for the display units, and the leads were sized for the required connections.
This placed the light sources within the merchandise compartments, supplementing the overhead spotlights. The supplied configuration used manual on/off control for steady illumination.

Validation
The project brief records a visual brightness-uniformity check with an acceptable result. This is a visual assessment, rather than a numerical illuminance-uniformity measurement.
Project Results
Following sample acceptance, the lighting configuration moved into mass production. The brief lists a project quantity of 500 sets and positive customer feedback.
