This Side-Emitting RGB COB LED Strip Series is designed for projects where light needs to emit from the side rather than directly upward. It is suitable for edge lighting, side slots, acrylic edge illumination, signage, display fixtures, decorative grooves and special aluminum profile structures.
The series includes 8mm 630 LEDs/m and 10mm 840 LEDs/m versions, with DC12V / DC24V options. Both versions use RGB COB, PWM control, 120° beam angle, IP20 / IP65 protection options, and standard 5m/roll length. The datasheets describe the products as high-density side-emitting COB strips with even and soft light, high efficiency, double-layer PCB, good heat dissipation and customizable length.

Series Overview
This series is positioned for side-view RGB lighting, especially where normal front-emitting RGB COB strips cannot achieve the required edge-lighting effect. The side-emitting structure allows the strip to be installed along the edge of a groove or profile while directing RGB light outward from the side.
The 8mm 630 LEDs/m version is suitable for narrower side-lighting profiles and shorter cutting requirements. The 10mm 840 LEDs/m version provides higher LED density and stronger RGB output for projects requiring a smoother and brighter side-emitting color effect.
