Project Overview
A Portuguese display fixture manufacturer needed lighting for a gondola display intended for cosmetics and perfume. The fixture combined stainless steel, wood panels and acrylic. The customer's name remains confidential.
The project used side-bending LED neon installed on the wood panels. Its main focus was the lighting path around the island display's corners and the appearance where the strip ends met.
Customer Challenge
Joining light-strip sections at the corners was inconvenient, and visible light spots interrupted the desired appearance. The customer wanted a continuous-looking light line without obvious shadows.
What We Did
iPixel supplied 8mm-wide side-bending LED neon in customized lengths to suit the display layout. The side-bending construction allowed the lighting path to follow the corners rather than relying on separate straight sections at each turn.
The end lead was arranged to exit from the side. This kept the lead away from the end-to-end meeting point, helping the strip ends meet closely. The project notes describe the intended end-to-end arrangement as having no obvious dark area at the join.

Project Results
The project progressed to production, with a recorded production quantity of 80 lighting sets. The customer reported being very satisfied with the result.
