Series Overview
Unlike normal top-emitting addressable strips, this series uses side-emitting RGB LED chips to create a horizontal light output direction. This is useful when the strip is installed in a side groove, along an edge, inside a thin channel, or behind an acrylic / display structure where front-emitting LEDs would not produce the right lighting effect.
The S008090IA3SA1 is a DC5V 90LEDs/m version with 11.11mm cutting length. The S008144IB3SA1 is a DC12V 144LEDs/m high-density version with 6.94mm cutting length. The DC12V version also uses 3 oz copper PCB according to the product description, which is useful for higher-density and higher-current layout.
